Our programs
We offer a variety of programs tailored to meet the unique needs of children at different developmental stages. From infant care to preschool, our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded and enriching experience that promotes growth and development.
Infant care
Our infant care program provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for the youngest members of our Discovery Family. We focus on creating a secure and loving space where infants can explore and develop.
Toddler program
Our toddler program is designed to encourage exploration, independence and social interaction. Through engaging activities and play-based learning, toddlers develop essential skills and build confidence.
Preschool program
Our preschool program prepares children for kindergarten by fostering a love of learning and developing essential academic and social skills. We provide a structured yet flexible environment where children can thrive.
About us
Discovery Family Childcare is a childcare and educational facility in Fort Washington, Maryland that caters to infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children. It can accommodate up to eight children and operates year-round, Monday through Friday. We offer full-time and part-time care, drop-in and emergency backup care as well as before and after school care. Our environment is safe, joyful and designed to support every child’s growth through fun activities and meaningful lessons. We are committed to partnering with parents to support their child's development and well-being.
